Walker Brands Headquarters Wins “Award of Excellence”
at 2008 Community Design Awards
TAMPA, FL (April 3, 2008) –BECK Group and Walker Brands were recognized tonight during the 26th Annual Community Design Awards hosted by the Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission. The new Walker Brands office (Tampa’s first privately-funded building seeking LEED certification) won an Award of Excellence in the “Green Projects” category. The award was one of 28 projects recognized “for their contributions to the quality of life in Hillsborough County.” Over 300 people attended this highly anticipated event, held at the historic Tampa Theatre in Downtown Tampa.
